This Pomade has been designed to provide your hair nutrition, soft hold, and great manageability. Use this pomade to naturally fight humidity and get rid of frizzy hair! This formula is light and nongreasy. All the ingredients used are natural. All the ingredients used are explained below:
Beeswax:
Beeswax is secreted by the glands of the honeybee and is used as a building material for honeycombs. In cosmetics, it is used for its unique chemistry, which has the ability to produce creamy textures that help in moisturizing, provide hold, and fight humidity to hair.
Castor Oil:
Castor Oil is an emollient oil extracted from the castor bean. This oil is highly moisturizing, is an emollient, helps to grow healthy hair, and due to its low molecular weight, is known to penetrate deeply into the scalp and hair.
Rice Bran Oil:
Rice Bran Oil is extracted from rice bran, the outer coat of brown rice. It is rich in vitamins, minerals, proteins, and essential oils. Additionally, rice bran oil is also high in fatty acids. It is an excellent source of tocotrienol, an antioxidant with the potential to be much more powerful and effective than Vitamin E. Rice Bran Oil is a great conditioning agent, adding softness, luster, and shine to hair. Rice Bran Oil possesses antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, which help to keep the scalp and hair healthy.
Shea Butter:
Shea Butter is made from nuts of the Karite tree that lives in West Africa. Shea butter is an ingredient that provides many benefits to beauty and care products. Shea butter’s abundance of fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals makes it an excellent moisturizing product that is soothing and also helps protect against environmental stress factors.
Coconut Oil:
Coconut Oil is moisturizing and prevents water loss, thereby keeping the hair shiny and soft. This oil helps to strengthen your hair and helps to reduce hair fall (hair loss).
CCT Oil:
CCT Oil is derived from coconut oil. It is a light-textured, very clear, odorless, non-staining, non-greasy liquid oil with an almost indefinite shelf life, and, above all, this oil moisturizes the hair without weighing it down.
C13-15 Alkane:
This is a GMO-free, sugar-based, ecologically green ingredient that is an alternative to silicones in cosmetic formulations. This ingredient is ECOCert-approved and a USDA Certified 100% Biobased Product that is inherently biodegradable. It’s sometimes referred to as Squalane Light.
Glyceral Stearate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate:
These three combinations of ingredients are completely GMO-free and 100% Vegan Compliant. Together, they provide conditioning to hair and help the formula to become nongreasy.
Meadowfoam Oil:
This is a cold-pressed virgin oil derived from the seeds of the Meadowfoam plant. This oil has properties similar to jojoba oil and is perfectly suited for dry hair. This oil makes the hair silky smooth and provides long term moisture.
Candelila Wax:
Natural vegetable wax extracted from the candelilla plant. It provides hold and nourishment to hair. It also helps to stabilize formulations.
Lauryl Laurate:
Lauryl Laurate is a plant-based monoester wax that has a smooth, non-greasy feel. Additionally, it provides a talc-powder (silicone-like) after-feel.
Rosemary Oleoresin:
Rosemary Oleoresin Extract (ROE) is a natural anti-oxidant. It helps extend the shelf life of oils by preventing them from turning brown and going rancid. In addition to being a potent anti-oxidant, rosemary stimulates hair growth, is antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, refreshing, toning, astringent, and healing. Rosemary improves blood circulation which allows nutrients to be carried more effectively to the cells and waste materials are more effectively removed from them. This higher blood circulation might be the reason why, in one study, constant use of rosemary for six months showed similar benefits to minoxidil (a drug used to induce hair growth).
